Southampton v. Newcastle | 4-0

When women used to be depressed or were not “taking care of their men” properly their husbands could send them to the psych ward for attitude adjustments. This was part of conditioning them to always wear a smile. They believed that if a woman saw herself smiling that it would become natural practice and that she would be “cured”. This often went along with shock therapies.
This photo was, as far as I can tell, taken at a ‘smile school' in Budapest, a quasi-parodic reaction to the city's high suicide rates at the time and absolutely nothing to do with men forcing their wives into psych wards
You’ve got to worry for people who believe stuff like this
Feminism had a noble cause for equality until it became a hate movement .
People have been accusing feminism of being a hate movement since women started trying to get the right to vote.
YUP! Remember this when people say feminism has gone too far! Because treating women as full human beings has always been seen as “going too far”.
